Summer is traditionally a slow time for my photography. It gives me time to catch up on personal photos and spend time with my family. I have a 2-year-old who really enjoys animals so this year we purchased a zoo membership. It also gives me a chance to photograph something other than sports.
The Oklahoma City Zoo holds a photo contest each summer. I entered the maximum of 4 photos. The photo below of a bobcat was selected for an award of excellence in the carnivore category.
